Drew Walters (Co-founder and Lead Advisor at Diverse Wealth) founded the firm alongside his wife, Sindy Walters.

Drew was originally born in Chicago, Illinois and moved down to Orlando to attend UCF for a degree in Business Finance.

He started his career in the financial services industry through an Internship with Northwestern Mutual in 2003 and within a year had opened up a scratch financial planning office in Greater Orlando.

He didn’t quite know it at the time, but this financial planning firm would eventually evolve to become what we know as Diverse Wealth a little over 15 years later.

He’s incredibly passionate about the work that he does within the community, but when he’s not working you can usually find him spending time with his wife Sindy and his daughter Emma, unwinding on the golf course or spending time giving back to the community.

When we asked Drew what he’s most excited about in regards to the future of Diverse Wealth he said; “the opportunity to not only continue to impact our community, but also to create a legacy far larger than he could ever imagine.”

Sindy was originally born in Venezuela but grew up in Colombia. She took a leap of faith and moved to Orlando by herself at the age of 17.

She started her career in the financial services industry with Northwestern Mutual in 2007, shortly after graduating from UCF with a degree in Business.

Sindy’s mission since day one has been focused around impacting the Hispanic and minority market in Central Florida. Bringing financial literacy and a call to action to each household, while making it an enjoyable experience.

When she’s not leading her clients to their dream life, Sindy finds joy in traveling the world, giving back to the community, and spending time with her loving family.

When we asked Sindy what she is most excited about in regards to the future of Diverse Wealth she said; “my mission since day one hasn’t changed much. I want to continue to make a tremendous impact on the Hispanic community and bring a somewhat “taboo” subject to the forefront, changing generations to come. I think this next phase of life.”

Meet our Operations Manager, Fabia Scott!

AKA, the one who is truly responsible for keeping Diverse Wealth running like a well-oiled machine.

Fabia has been with the company for just over 8 years. Most of which she has held her 2-15 license. However, recently we got to celebrate her becoming securities licensed as well!

Fabia moved to Florida in 1989 from Long Island, New York, but is originally from Trinidad and Tobago!

When she’s not spending time with her 4 children & 3 grandchildren she said that her and her husband of 33 years love to travel and explore the world.

When we asked Fabia what excited her most about the future with Diverse Wealth she said “the opportunity to truly make an impact on the Orlando Community, particularly on the Diverse Community that might not have the same access to financial literacy. I love that our firm is always eager to grow whether it’s personally, or professionally.”
